CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT
We use texting/email to confirm your appt. We need a reply of YES when this text/email is sent to you 5-7 days before your appt. If you do not respond, a second confirmation text/email is sent 72 hours before your appt requesting a reply of YES to confirm by 6pm that day.
All unconfirmed appts will be canceled at 6 pm 3 days before the appt. This gives us 2 days to contact someone who wants to be seen sooner. If we don't receive a response, we assume you do not plan to keep the appt. However, you are free to reschedule anytime since we were able to fill this spot.
CANCELING OR RESCHEDULING- 72 HOUR RULE
NO SHOW We require at least 72 hours' notice to cancel your appt. If you are unable to give us a 72 hour notice, we may require a non-refundable fee to schedule another appt.
If you fail to keep an appt that you previously confirmed, all NO SHOWs for CONFIRMED appts will require a non-refundable deposit to schedule another appt in the future. This deposit can be used for copays and exam fees. However, this eliminates the risk of another missed appt.
PLEASE CONFIRM: IF YOU DO NOT RESPOND TO TEXT OR EMAIL OR CALL
We assume you do not plan to keep the appt. All UNCONFIRMED APPTs are canceled 3 days before the appt. NO WORRIES, You CAN reschedule at any time.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR CONFIRMED APPT: IF YOU NO SHOW BY MISSING A CONFIRMED APPT we are unable to fill that spot. No shows are the reason doctors OVERBOOK OR RAISE FEES. In order to avoid overbooking and creating increased wait times and to keep our fees down, we require a NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT TO SCHEDULE AN APPT AFTER YOU HAVE MISSED A CONFIRMED APPT WITHOUT ADEQUATE NOTICE.
Initial text/email- Sent immediately after the appointment (appt) is made with a link to add it to your calendar.
Confirmation text/email- One week before your appt, you will be asked to respond YES to confirm your appt.
Cancellation warning text/email- All UNCONFIRMED appts will be sent a final reminder THREE days before the appt. All unconfirmed appts will be canceled at 6 p.m. THREE days prior to the appt date.
If you had an unconfirmed appt that we canceled for you, you can call to schedule another appt at anytime with no consequence.
If you had a CONFIRMED appt that you missed without adequate notice, we will collect a non-refundable deposit to schedule another appt. This will be discussed in detail if necessary. This protects us from having to overbook in the future to cover lost income due to excessive missed appts. We are working hard to finetune our schedule to minimize the wait time in our office. In order to do this, we need to maintain a 100% show rate for our appts.
